Soooo.... the Ultrafire 18650 (Protected 4000mah) batteries arrived, with a dual Ultrafire digital charger - fitted into my M16 clone, put on my Aerotank (with naturevape coil as so far ahead of the BDC's on the Kanger) and you know what - I just do not get on with it - it is just a bit bulky for me...

So I have now got the Aerotank on the normal 1100mah battery, with the beauty ring and it is spot on!... not really any different to the Mini PT 3, just a better capacity and adjustable airflow...

So if anyone wants a brand new (as in used for an hour last night!) Sentinal M16 clone, a pair of Ultrafire 4000mah, protected 18650 batteries with an Ultrafire dual digital charger for a very reasonable fee, please PM me!

Width or length? As it will take the smaller batteries like the 18350

Put simply they're badly thought through. Shiny, smooth metal is not good for getting a grip on. This has grippy bits but only on the spinning piece for the airflow, which will easily spin, yet the the two pieces that need a little force to unscrew (battery and tank) are smooth metal and very slippy.

Stupid product.
Thats why I like the Aspire Nautilus, lots of knurling.

It appears my itaste VV 3.0 has died...

Cycling flashing lights, displaying 888 on boot and then an odd 1 = 1 (the equals is actually 3 lines). Arse.

Have you got a Nautilus Mini Cotty? If so, how does it compare to its big brother?

I bought the missis the white one for her birthday. Pretty good but they seem to fail often. I'll dig out some links later for other vv/vw ego style batteries I've been looking at if you want?

Especially if you can get it with a metal tank!

Has anyone on here tried dripping? I don't know that much about it, so forgive me when I say this, what's the point when you can have a nice big tank of juice on your battery/mod?

Thanks, I have a couple of other ego-twist type things. I was beginning to get used to it. Small, light weight and variable. I've emailed the supplier so will see what they say.

Usually more flavour & massive clouds especially if you're sub ohming. I've got a few drippers but mainly use a cheap DDA or mini DDA from totally wicked to try new juices out. Really easy to rewick with cotton....

The others I hardly use as its a bit of a faff rebuilding the coils but get it right and they're great. Couple drops last around 15/20 mins.

If you fancy getting into rebuildables but want a tank instead of a dripper this ones excellent.

They also do a dripper kit for it (can't find mine anywhere!)

Super easy to rebuild/clean and hands down the best RBA/tank I've got smile

Cheers for that. When you build your own coils how often on average do they last?

Coils usually last a few weeks but I rewick every couple days if the taste drops off or if I change flavours I'll just strip & clean it, dry burn the coil, fresh cotton then it's good to go again. Easy to rebuild though especially the Taifun GT. 10 minute job and honestly it's the best thing I've got

Thumbsnap finally working, pics of the billet box:

Three main components - only criticism is the engraving inside the 'lid' should be blacked like the engraving in the body... Machining quality is simply stunning - showed it to a very skilled chap at work who was very impressed.

Assembled, with filling syringe that uses the black nitrile ball valve to fill - just slide lid down a bit, insert syringe and fill.

Ready to use, with pistonhead friendly carbon fibre...

Since my MVP died a month or so ago (stripped threads after several months sterling service as sole cig (loved the battery meter ensuring it would never run out during the day) I've been mixing using an ego twist and mini protank (not sure which one, fairly sure it was dual coil) with real fags - ego just wasn't enough and I couldn't turn the voltage up without getting dry hits with my liquid, so smellies it was. Last night/today, I've vaped about 3ml, and drained a set of batteries, but no thought of smoking. Simply stunning flavour and vape production, and pretty much bombproof. Ergonomics are lovely.

Really can't get across how impressed I am with this, and over the last two years I've used pretty much all the well regarded kit.

Now giving serious consideration to getting another one, but in black/funky colour - need to go minimum 8 weeks between orders (there seems to be a fairly big flipping market for these) - and should probably leave it a lot longer than that to appease the missus!

Apart from re-wicking a half decent looked after coil, especially a contact coil, can last months.

Something just occured to me, I'm flying on holiday tomorrow and expect to have my vape on me (4 weeks now without smoking a cig smile). Any guidance around how I get through the xray machine? Also, I assume I shouldn't have the tank full due to the pressure at altitude?

Depends what it is.

I have flown a few times with an ego and kanger tank. No issues. Seperated them before the flight and put the tank in a small baggy. I didn't get any leakage myself.

Edit: Saying that, the rules on batteries have been tightened up recently on certain airlines. Might be worth calling the airline in question.

On another note... Juice delivery, they smell ace.

If I saw you using that I would assume you had emphysema or similar. In a years time when these things have evolved to look less funny, I think you'll look back and laugh at what you must have looked like as you vaped on your 'impressively engraved' tin box.

Pretty sure we've already discussed the fact that no one cares what you think we look like?
