I went to light the fire in our house for the first time the other night. Had to pop to the petrol station to get a lighter as there wasn't one in the house.

A colleague quit cold turkey, just stopped. New baby was an influence. Although commenting that my pipes as he likes to call them are OTT, admitted that after a few beers he likes to smoke a cig or two and having tried an ecig wanted to get something to vape on instead.

On one hand he isn't a smoker just wanted something to puff on on the occasional night out. Also didn't want to wait for a delivery, wanted it that second, so went to a corner shop and bought a basic starter kit tank, battery, charger, basic juice £20. After watching him have a few puffs, its garbage, I suggested the Aspire Starter kit consisting of K1 Glassomizer and G-Power 900mah ££34.96
http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00NSYAH9E/ref=...

He will probably buy the Aspire kit, So £20 + £35 = £55 and he could have waited a day or two and saved £20 and just bought a decent kit in the first place. I despair banghead
Thought I would update you. The kit I thought was rubbish, was rubbish the threads have locked and he couldn't get the tank off to charge the battery. He took it back to the shop and they swapped it for another of the same so still rubbish. He agreed so bought a CE4 starter kit as that's what his mate uses. He didn't need the kit as he could have used the ego battery and charger with the replacement kit they gave him and just bought a couple of CE4 cleromisers to go on it.

So far £40 down, two batteries, two chargers and a crap tank. Tempted to lend him my Aspire K1 to show him what a decent tank is like even on an ego battery.

New juice company to try, 70VG/30PG juice. Looks quite cheap when you are ordering larger 50ml to 100ml bottles.

Blatant rip off from Grants VC & Red Astaire, disgusting, immoral and pure thieving nono

£3.39 for a bottle of grants clone...I'm in winkhehe

Wouldn't mind trying it anyway, my diy grants VC clone tastes like dogs ass frown Made 60ml up last month in 10 ml batches and every one tastes horrible, can't understand why as its meant to be an exact clone fo Grants headache I give up!

Tbh most of my cloned juices have come out rank, especially the Five Pawns Gambit clones ive done, disgusting taste on every one. Tried 3 different recepies and they're all gash frown

Made up 10ml of Queenside clone and that's pretty nice though, and a mothers milk clone came out ok.

I hope my gremlin & Oreo VC clones come out ok after a months steep, cost me a small fortune getting all the different flavours together!

Well, turns out vaping has the same effect on hotel fire alarms as normal fags....

I successfully emptied a 200+ room hotel at 11pm last night, in the rain, the night before a large family wedding. Bugger.

That's for 10ml you would make massive savings once you like something and re-order, as a 50ml bottle is about £12 and 100ml £20

completely fed up of vaping at the moment, tempted to go back to cigarettes just solely because cigs don't leak
I've tried the evod, et-s, aspire nat and another one and they all leak, sick of having to wash my hands constantly and rinse toxic liquid out of my mouth

Have you tried the bvc coils?

I've been vaping almost as long as some of the 'old timers' on here like Prof Beard and VEA, and pretty much every kit I've tried has had the occasional (and in some cases not so) leak/spit etc.

Not had the slightest inkling of a leak with the half dozen bvc coils I've used - all I have to do know is clean out a bit of condensation around the tank in my billet box once a week.

May be worth a try?

hmm i'm not sure, I bought a Aspire Natulius kit and i'm presuming that comes with the bvc coil? despite all of the hype it simply leaks through the airhole

That's why I've stuck with the Mini Nova for the last 2 years. The two tank systems I had before would both leak, 1 continuously, the other would occasionally over flow and dump it's juice.

Problem is, I think the mini nova may be getting close to the end of it's life as LF now have it in their clearance section. I may just buy up a good amount and store them for future use. It's a rare thing for the mini nova to get any juice coming up the mouth piece, maybe 5 times in 2 years, and probably when I've over filled the tank.

I think the Nautilus comes with the (only slightly) older bdc coils, but the bvc ones are a straight swap.

My experience with the bdc coils was a great vape (when it wasn't giving out dry hits) but a lot of leaking...

Happy to be corrected, I've not had one but there's lots here that have!

thanks for the replies,
i'm going to buy some bvc heads for the nat and also a mini nova as recommended above

considering going for a new battery - Itaste mvp v2
do they store much more charge than the standard batteries (evod etc) ? I'm sick of recharging !

Lots and lots more!

I used to go through a 1100mAh spinner ego battery a day, the first gen mvp I had lasted three days comfortably.

Now I swap batteries once a day as my mod takes diddy little 16340 batteries (oh I wish someone would make a lipo upgrade for the billet box!).

Good luck, hope it works - from the sounds of it you don't really want to go back on the fags, but the leaks are pushing you back?

i have had no leak issues with the iclear 30. I have been through a few coils in just a couple of weeks though, so i'm not totally happy with it.

I'm thinking of getting the nature vape atomosier now, looks like a good bit of kit.

Aspire only started producing a kit when the mini Nautilus came out. The mini Nautilus was released with BVC coils, easy to tell just look down the coil it should have a hole in the middle with white wicking material round the outside.

I have three mini nautilus and none of them leak. However my juice is either very high or 100%VG so quite thick, no problems in regular use.

I had a BVC coil in an original 5ml Nautilus. I wasn't using it but left it with juice in standing up. I noticed after two weeks it had leaked out the air hole but that was not a regular occurance.
