Am interested as the eNVy17 Stealth Mod can take a nano so thought might take a punt, ideally wanted a TC stealth mod but I think I will be waiting a long time.
I don't bother with stealth mods these day. A subtank mini on an istick is about the smallest set up I use out and about. I only really vape these days when I have a beer, after a couple I don't really care what people think.
The nano doesn't come with the rebuilable deck either, I'm not sure if it even fits in the tank?

Tried Chill ski in the Mini last night with the 0.5 coil in the subtank and I didn't like it anywhere near as much as on my RDA.. Don't know
if I need a better tank or if I just need to give up trying nice juices in there, Deathbybunny is still really nice
Thanks for pointing it has no RBA, was going to build the occ as seems pretty straight forward.
Well my occ coils were both unused as went straight for RBA when I got it my subtank mini and been building them since.
As nano is not RBA I just put on the 0.5 occ horizontal to see what the difference would be and I prefer the RBA so far in every way.
Hit is totally different and the flavour is hardly there compared to the rba.
Might get used to it we shall see.

The stock coil heads are a piece of piss to rebuild though, try a build more suited to flavour in the 'over' ohm range with your choice of wicking material - I love the dimensions of the envy with subtank nano, teeny wee thing.

I got an Aromamizer v1 dripper in the post today, supposed to be one of the best flavour drippers; 54% off so £15.99 delivered, which is clone money for a genuine atty. It's having a bath in the ultrasonic, then I'll stick a build in and see if it's as good as they say?
A brief follow up - really disappointed initially, put a twisted 29awg dual build at circa 0.75ohm in - ramp up was terrible even at 40w, metallic tasting despite a good clean. Found a post on POTV that mentioned the supplied screws being to short to trap even 26awg wire.

Ripped the build out and found some longer screws from spares/other atties and fitted dual 26awg coming in at 0.55, raised the coils for better air flow; much better, but really had to tighten the screws down or they back out, poor show for what is otherwise a beautifully machined atty (the machining on the deck is exquisite, changes pattern depending on how the light hits it - won't be seen in use, but a nice touch nonetheless)

Metallic taste is beginning to go with use, ramp up is vastly improved with a proper connection, and at times the flavour is fantastic - the air is drawn in from six holes near the top and directed down to the coils via a double skinned top-cap with shaped air flow channels that creates a cyclonic effect, supposedly to increase flavour - clever stuff. The drip tip is as wide as the Subaru I followed today, tunnel-esque, but has spit back protection and is a restricted lung hit (air flow is non-adjustable) which is completely at odds to what you would expect with the size of it! Also comes with a standard drip tip adaptor with spit back protection. The airflow and spit back protection creates a pretty dry vape experience - different, very different indeed.

Apologies for the lengthy post, but the jury is still out so far - I'm going to contact Steam Crave regarding the screw problem as I've had to disable one of my other drippers to get this to work properly by stealing a screw; supposedly they are very responsive and have new deck designs coming out that fit all existing top caps!

tl,dr; buy an Ubertoot UTA 2 clone - a tank that out flavours supposedly one of the best flavour drippers.

Had lots of new juices over the last few weeks. Very, very impressed by all the Buckshot ones I've tried.

Cherry bomb may well become an all day vape, just pure cherry fruit flavour without the harsh sweetness so many have.

Also, the istick TC.

Quality bit of kit. Not used a regular istick, but at the same settings, it's exactly the same as my sx mini. Other half is chuffed, and keeping off the cancer sticks. Really impressed, tempted to get another to carry in the car for an emergency backup/fancy a flavour change.

TC is a little more complex to setup, so kit sure if I'd recommend it for a beginner, but with a little help I think a lot of people should make the switch...

So I have the Tecc curve 2. 2 weeks in and the glass has cracked so leaking everywhere.
I was struggling with the flavour, very strong and made me cough. I've been using Heisenburg, blackjack. I am not sure what I was doing wrong? Maybe it is because I had closed off the air as otherwise it's like sucking through an empty straw!

Anyway I have now bought a Kangertech Mini. I like the easily controllable air, so this may make a change to the taste. It also was sold to me with a spare coil but the other one is 0.5ohm, when I put this is in states low atomiser? Does this mean it won't work with the curve?

Thanks

You need a sub ohm battery to get a 0.5 to work and the Tecc curve 2 can only go down to 1 ohm.
An istick 30w would be able to sub ohm and would be one of the cheaper options.

I'm spending a fortune on liquids! Just ordered the Nipple juice and Dibners delight!

I just can't get on with the current stock as they are all too strong and either make me sneeze or cough. They also stink out the house. Can liquids be diluted in any way to make them more subtle?

They can be diluted if you buy some PG and VG, I buy mine from here http://www.vapersemporium.co.uk/gb/53-pg-vg-ag-bas...

Remember that once you dilute its not only the flavour thats going to suffer but also the % of Nicotine.
Regarding the smell I also have the same problem even though I use an Blueair air purifier with smokeStop filter that worked well when I smoked however its not so efficient when it comes to vaping, rung a couple of specialist companies who recomended air purifiers however from what I am experiencing they are not made to remove vaping smells.
Thought of dehumidifier's however from what I have read they do not remove smells either so am snookered.

Gents, need help please.

I've been a 20-30 Marlboro a day man for the last 15 or so years. I'm now ready to quit.

However I think I do need help and want to go the e cig route.

Please could someone suggest something I can buy online with, for example, a couple of months worth of vapour stuff?

I'm not interested in flavours. In fact as close to Marlboro Lights taste as possible would be right up my street smile

Sorry if this has been asked many times before, this thread is now such a brute that I could never read it all.

Thanks.

Ben

Equipment, I'd go for an eleaf istick 40tc and kangertech subtank mini. Bought that setup for my better half last week from hog vaping. Grab a pack of ni200 occ coils from there at the same time.

For setup, watch pbusardo's review on youtube, then come on here with any questions. Temp control takes a little understanding, but you won't get a better vape without entering a very geeky world!

Juice wise, someone else will have to help as I despise the taste of fags now! Although I have heard very good things about manabush and House of Liquid for tobacco juices.

Good luck fella!

Can't help with the juices and they're subjective but I picked up a Kangertech Subox kit in black and haven't looked back since.

About £50 for the complete kit, just make sure you buy two batteries so that you have a spare if you ever need it.

Tried a couple of tobacco flavours to begin with but didn't get on with any of them. Would say it was well worth trying some recommended flavours from fellow vapers on here though even if you say you probably won't like anything non-tobacco.

As suggested the istick is a great bit if kit. Starting out the 30w should suit you fine. If you go for the full kit you get charging cables, basically a USB so you plug it onto a computer to charge but you can get a wall charger if you are away from a PC

The Nautilus Mini is a good tank with adjustable airflow, decent size. On the link you can buy extra coils with the purchase, should easily hold you for a month or two (coils last a week or two depending how much you vape.

I don't vape tobacco flavours anymore. I vape on these http://www.lancashiresteamcompany.co.uk/shop.html

Is it just me then but I don't feel the need to replace my 0.5 coils any more than once a month?

IMO I'd jump straight to a 40 or 50w device as you'll only spend out again upgrading otherwise.

Can't rate the Subox kit enough. Great bit of kit and I wish I hadn't wasted £50 on lesser bits and pieces first.

I'd echo that - buy the kit that you'll end up using if vaping works for you. Hence my recommendation for temp control... wink

On a separate note, tried buying some fresh 18650s when I bought the istick tc, only to find they can't send them outside of a device now?

Anywhere I can get top quality batteries delivered to me for decent price?
