Even better when they state that the cuts are due to bailing the banks out... now they are just about finished repaying the bail out, who can they blame then?

Anyone know how close the banks are to paying off the bailout? How many billions are left, inc NR?

God they're stupid. "Government spending is more than £22 billion higher than it was in 2008 when the financial crisis erupted." "Dr Tim Morgan, the global head of research at Tullett Prebon, said: “It’s high time that this mendacity was exposed for what it is. Government has done very little about its spending, has appropriated three-quarters of all gains in economic output for its own use, has carried on piling up debt – and has tried to pass all this off as 'responsible austerity’." http://www.telegraph.co.uk/finance/financialcrisis...

Am I the only person who thinks this is completely out of order?
As it is parliamentary recess I would image Nick Clegg is out and about, so the only people in the home would be his wife and 3 kids.
It is one thing to protest outside his workplace, it is another to target his home.

You think it is fine to harass the family of someone you don't agree with? If you had to get rid of someone from work, how would you feel if they started harassing your family? Pretty sick if you ask me to try and use school yard bully boy tactics to gain media headlines. Fair enough disagree with the politics, but don't take it out on his family. Do you know who she voted for? Do you know what she thinks? NO. So take it out on his work, not his family.

He's a public figure, a limp-wristed politician who is disliked by a great number of the electorate in this country.
I never condoned the harrassment of his family BTW, but it's no different to demonstrations outside #10 or Ken Livingstone/Prescott's houses.
Heat..kitchen etc.

Heat..kitchen etc. Yes it is. No10 is a workplace. Nick Clegg isn't there. This is where his family lives. I wouldn't endorse a protest outside anyones home based on their work.

They're targeting Clegg because he's sold his soul. They expect Cameron and the Tories to kick poor people, they're not surprised about that. I doubt the student fee riot would've been anywhere near as bad - or even happened at all - in a Tory majority Government without the Clegg u-turn element to it.
