Downloaded the free app this afternoon, then upgraded to the full fat 69p game. I can confirm that this game is hellishly addictive.

Negotiated a transfer to Bishops Stortford so far, need to play a bit better and up my wages a bit when the iPhone recharges...

This game is brilliant. Had it a while and it's worth every penny of the 69p.
Only got the World cup to win then I'm deleting it.

Anyone bought the weather/pitch pack add ons?

Well my Sunday evening is being lost to a promotion chase for Bishop Stortford and mostly unproductive contract negotiations.

how long do you need to play for to win the World Cup, I wonder?

I've been playing about a month. Level 57.
I got to about level 20 then started again. When you start again you keep all the money you have so I was fortunate to be able to buy a lot of things as a level 1 player.

Property is a must. Your energy levels are always higher in games.
Having a girlfriend is a pain. Get rid when you've got the 100% girlfriend relationship award.
Energy drinks start getting very expensive. Stockpile if you have spare cash.

Novelty wears off after a while, but it is an outstanding app. My player's into his thirties, wonder when retirement comes?

A cross between this and Flick Kick Football really would be a great app...

FFS OP. Massive pins and needles now after a 20-minute session in trap 1. irked

Won 2 games, drawn 2, 1 assist but no goals yet. It's tricky trying to balance your work-rate against your energy with the knowledge that you have no cans of pop left.

Good game thumbup

Sorry all - if it's any consolation I've taken to playing the game in the evenings until the battery goes dead!

Just dumped the girlfriend (in the game) because she keeps making comments which upset the boss...

Anyone know what happens if you take the bribes?

I took the bribe once. Couldn't even manage that as I won the game despite playing terrible.

My lunch break today was ridiculous. I stuffed food down my throat for 5 minutes then lost a couple of hours.
