I've happily owned an Arnage Red Label for seven years. I absolutely love it. However now the Mulsanne is about and the prices for late Arnages are dropping I'm becoming tempted to upgrade to one of the 2007-on versions. Has anyone got driving experience with the newer ones to tell me if the 500bhp, six speeds, etc etc is worth going for? I actually find the combination of the old four speed gearbox with the torque of the old single turbo engine great fun - will I want the newer one or will it be more of a sewing machine (like my GT Speed?).

I have recently purchased an 07 Arnage after having had a turbo r for 3 years. I have not driven the 4 speed arnage. The new car has smooth gear changes and is very quick, not that the turbo r was slow. It does sometimes wrestle with the gears when moving off, ie puts down too much power when moving off. Otherwise, the sport options and "manual' shift through the gears are very effective. As you say, prices are now attractive and I love driving it! I am told the all black cars are a little harder to sell on?!
