Watching qualifying yesterday and they were suggesting there is going to be alot of moving teams next year. Given my knowledge in these matters is s te, I have a few questions. 1. Think Rossi could be persuaded to move to Honda? Would they want him? 2. Cal - Will he be Lorenzo's team mate. 3. Pedrosa - On his way out? 4. Spies out? 5. Dovi? Showing good signs of late...factory move? 6. Fleegle - 2013 Paddock girl?

The only thing that is certain so far is that Spies is leaving Yamaha at the end of the year, he is in talks with Ducati.
Nothing Else will be sorted until Lorenzo, Rossi & Marquez are all signed & done.

It all hinges on Lorenzo. If he stays at Yamaha then I think you will see Pedrosa keep his ride at Yamaha. If he goes to Honda then there is a good chance Dani will move, probably to Yamaha. With Stoner retiring both Yamaha and Honda would be prepared to take Rossi back, but it will hinge on whether or not they need to. My prediction is:-
Yamaha - Lorenzo/Crutchlow Honda - Pedrosa/Bradl (for one year only to be replaced by Marquez in 2014) Tech3 - Smith/Dovisioso
I have no idea where Spies will end up when the music stops as I can't see the works Ducati squad being interested in him if they have Hayden and Rossi.

D2F, hayden is out of contract at the end of the year, and spies has big American backing from Ducati America.
It isn't just Lorenzo that's key, NOTHING else will happen until Lorenzo, Rossi & Marquez are Sorted. Latest is that JL is talking to Honda, but has 'vetoed' pedrosa as a Teammate, and that Gresini will lose its prototype bike (but gain 'unnoficial' HRC support for its CRT bikes) and Marquez will take the 4th (but 3rd factory) Honda with his current team moving up.

From what they have said currently I would guess:
Yamaha - Lorenzo/Crutchlow Honda - Pedrosa/Bradl (for one year only to be replaced by Marquez in 2014) Tech3 - Rossi/Dovisioso
Yamaha and Honda so far said they would take Rossi back but not on their main team (that's what I read a few weeks back).
Rossi could end up on Simis old bike depending on where the current riders sit / go.

Smith's contract that was signed last year gives him a spot in the Tech3 MotoGP team next year. Unless they want to try and buy him out of it (which I doubt they would do) he is going to have one of the Tech3 seats next year. As a result this makes a Rossi/Dovi pairing highly unlikely.

I believe Bradl is the only rider so far to have a one year contract with Honda for next year. So we know he's there.

Waaay to early to think about it really.
Im not convinced Cal will move up to works team - yet!
My gut feeling is :
Lorenzo sticks Rossi - Repsol Pedrosa - Repsol.....both Repsol riders on one year deals to allow Marquez move up. Spies - back to WSB ? Dovi - satellite bike if he doesnt beat Cal
Id be more interested to see who bids for Caseys pit team - Gabbarini et al are free too..... Burgess I think will retire this year.

Too soon to say for many predictions. One thing I'd say is that I doubt that Bradders truly deserves a MotoGP ride based on his Moto2 form (unless as was hinted during today's race his bike IS chronically slow?) Otherwise the only certainty is Fleegle for paddock w e !

Spies > AMA / WSB You think Rossi and Hayden will want to stay at Ducati? Why should they if the bike wont work for them?

What I would like to see/half expect to see.
HRC Repsol Honda - Pedrosa & Bradl Yamaha - Lorenzo & Crutchlow Ducati - Rossi & Spies Tech 3 Yamaha - Dovisioso & Smith Team CatalunyaCaixa Repsol Honda - Marquez Gresini - Bautista(or 2 CRT bikes) LCR - Hayden and/or Iannone
I don't think Pramac or AB Cardion, if returning will be back with a prototype Ducati. I can see them going CRT though, maybe 2 bikes. If so perhaps......
Pramac CRT - Barbara & Pol Espargaro AB Cardion CRT - Abraham & Luthi
CRTs anyone's guess what happens there.

Burgess has said quite clearly he stays till Rossi goes. Current noise puts Gabbarini and stoners crew with Marquez, with Marquez current mechanics staying In moto2 to work with Vinales.
Lorenzo has said he won't ride alongside pedrosa, also several engine crates were delivered to the gresini CRT pit with HRC logos all over them, fuelling more the HRC CRT effort rumour.

Does anyone actually think the Caixa money will still be around next year ?

Might not be, I only used that in place of whoever will be the sponsor of a single works spec Honda for Marquez. Might be a straight Repsol, run by Alzamora's team. Which would stretch the non-factory for rookies rule slightly.

How tied up is the Smith deal? No disrespect, but with so few prototypes on the grid he wouldn't be top of my list and the current Tech3 squad looks strong.
Cannot wait to see Redding on a MotoGP bike, though I'd guess a customer Duke would be the very best he could hope for with so few rides about.
Any chance of the manufacturers supporting the CRTs more next season, as I assume it is similar to what MotoGP will eventually become and they would benefit from the experience?

I hope so, don't want to see him waste another season on that s t box of a Mistral. Seriously the centre section of the bike hasn't changed since the very first Moto2 race in 2010. It's had a few updates, in contrast Suter are on about their 15th chassis. Remember how off the pace Redding was with a Suter 1-2 behind Marquez last year? The Mistral is rubbish, problems with weight transfer and front to rear balance braking or accelerating out of corners. I just hope he's not on a Tech 3 built CRT.

Surely redding should be the one moving up to gp? Ok smiths supposedly on a crap bike but reddings a big heavy guy and still getting the results.
