Is that another Scandanavian body of water? Like the Skaggerak and the Kattegat? So, friend of mine dropped down yesterday to see this, said it was spooky how good the paint job still is. Also that much of the plane looks like it just came out of the factory - he played with a turnbuckle and said it was slick and free moving. The fabric sections had badly decayed and some of the aluminium sections had rotted, but much of the airframe and components were pristine. The guns had been removed years ago by the navy and one of the engines was recovered by the Nazis, back then too. He saw it as they began to break it down prior to 2 years submergence in a fresh-water tank - which will seemingly be open to the public. He said it was weird looking at those original swastikas...
Gutted I dodn't go down!
