Hello all,

This months competition theme is "In Motion" be it water, wildlife, cars, people or anything else!

Rules

The photos taken must be your own work
The shot MUST be taken this month, with the closing date being midnight on the last day of the Challenge month
The exif must be posted with your shot
The competition will run from the first to the last day of the month
The winner from the previous month decides on the topic for following month and judges it at the end of the month
The Challenge for next month should be generic, as not everyone has access to zoom, macro, specialist lenses. It should be shots that everyone is capable of achieving with the bare essentials.
There will be two threads that need starting: The Entries thread to commence same time as Discussion thread. In the Entries thread only one picture should be entered. Any others you wish to discuss should be posted in the Discussion thread.
All entrants acknowledge that they may indeed win and that their adherence to convention ensures everyone else's continued fun.
Photos entered should be no bigger than 750 pixels wide for a landscape photo and 600 pixels high for a portrait photo.

Enjoy!

Questions: are Instagram photos allowed and, if so, how does one post their Exif?

Yeah instagram photo's are fine. Dunno how you'd get the exif, open in photoshop and have a look at the image data perhaps?

Most modern browsers allow you to install a plugin to read exif data in images. Save yourself the both though, Instagram strips out the exif data. Presumably though, if Instagram images are fine, and the there isn't any exif data then it's ok to post without as you haven't failed to post the data, it just doesn't exist?

A few possible entries from today at the Cholmondeley Pageant of Power:

...but I think this detail captures the filth of the scramblers and will be my entry:
