DB9 vs. 996TT Tip'

Just been for a test drive in an Aston DB9 and I have to say I am quite disapointed - any of you have experiences of this car ?
On the positives the 100 mph ride was far quiter than a 996TT and engine note was adorable. As a car the sense of presence was right up there and it feels like a really light and chuckable car. Sadly it isn't - negatives are too long to list - over light steering, mega sensitive throttle, poor trim fitting, and frankly slow. Getting back in to the 996TT and driving home was the best part of the experience and they cost 15% less. Still it is a landmark car for Aston - just does not compare to a 996 really.
