I think it depends on the rock. I've only managed it a few times.
When mods eventually happen, we can have proper cranes for it.

Yea but there's going to be some confusion with mods, I think you all have to have the mod for it to work online but with the way MP works it'll be far from straightforward.
They have talked about allowing dedicated servers which run constantly, gives the possibility of running a mod server or something.

Well my mate's rescue attempt went horribly wrong after I got the fully loaded logging truck stuck in a pit in the river (hardcore mode).

Hehe, that's a bit of a mess!

Mind you, I didn't get very far with this load...

You can still see the marker for the Lumber yard... D'oh!

Steam ID Alpha4206871. Looking forward to playing online, I've only played single player so far.

I'm enjoying the Tatra mod. The game really needs a mod menu now.

Good lord.. look at that beast!
Those forks are magnificent..

Could it maybe be a tad over powered?

Oh incidentally it seems there might be a way to play mods online but only if everyone has the same mods installed.

There have been mods since before the game launched.
Mostly for the 2013 tech demo but slowly they're getting ported and created for the full game *BUT* at the moment, once you install mods you can't play online or get any "achievements" (except a few limited mods like the tipper back for the Zil (little blue truck)), although there is a workaround and I've seen an instructional video somewhere but haven't yet tried it, which I will post remember if I later*, it allows you to play online but only with other players who do the same thing with the same mods.
Hopefully Oovee will be making it more mod-friendly in future, they've stated their intention to do so.

There's all kinds of stuff, big missile carriers, radar trucks, Dakar "support" trucks, buggies, monster trucks, rally cars, I've even seen (but not tried) boats.

*I can't believe I just typed that eek

So I've now completed all of the levels in Hardcore mode in single player but need a group of people who are up for completing levels in multi player. Anyone up for doing an eveningof achievement chasing?

I found this randomly in the steam sale yesterday, it was only a tenner so I got it and really enjoyed it, seems to have steep learning curve to it but I think I've got the jist of it.
Does anyone else still play? A few of us in a multiplayer session would be a good laugh!

Had a great co-op game on this yesterday with 'Dave'. I had the original tech demo and often mucked about in it, so having the full game made sense.

Now I need a cheap headset/mic for my PC.... get's pretty tiresome bringing up the console to ask for a winch every few minutes (fully loaded with logs the big 8x8 thing gets stuck quite easily)

What's your steam id? I'm 'wongshuis'

Would also like to do some more co-op, shame things can't be saved.

Sorry to bring up an old thread again but after umming and ahhing for a couple of years about if my laptop would run it, I finally bought it the other day and apart from having to tone the graphics right down, it is working fine! I loved the demo and played that for hours and the full game is amazing! got a couple of the mods for some Land Rovers to drive around with, need to find a way to use my PS3 controller as they get a bit twitchy with the keyboard when you are moving fast

I think because my laptop is a bit rubbish I wont be able to play multiplayer without it ruining it for everyone?

It will only ruin others experience if your internet connection is slow.

Google a program called DS4, it allows you to use your ps4 controller n the PC, connect via Bluetooth or the charging cable. It works pretty much out the box.

Did you get this on steam? If so add me and can try a multiplayer sometime.
