Rear Seat Usage

I am after a weekend car and I am considering purchasing a 993 C2. However, I was wondering about the read occupancy. I have two very small children (ages 1 and 3) and was wondering about the ability to carry them in the rear seats. I know that Porsche does have it's own baby seat range, but they only appear to be available for the front seats.
Any ideas/expereiences out there?

I've a 993 Carrera, a 1 year old and a 3 year old.
Both as comfortable in Porsche 'Prince' seats as they seem to be in standard car seats.
Annoyingly the standard belts in the back of a 993 are not long enough to strap in the Prince seats so need to fit longer seat belts (£££ at OPC). This may, of course, have been done if you're buying 2nd hand. If you're buying from a specialist they may do the mod as part of the deal.
You can even fit a travel cot in the luggage compartment and a papoose between the 2 littl'uns (no chance of getting a pushchair in as well). Being able to take the kids means you'll use the car more.
So no excuses...go for it.

Glad it's not just me with this quandry at the moment!
I was running a Cerbera up until recently (sold it now, miss it like mad), especially as we only have the wifes ML to run about in
She recently mooted the idea of buying a 911, would have to be a Cab (suppose you have to make some concessions) and I'm thinking 4wd would probably be a good idea for winter. Although again, with the engine at the back is this totally necessary?
The whole point is I'd get rid of the ML and have the 911 as our only car, we have 2 kids (2 1/2 and 5 1/2), so don't lug the all the bits round anymore. Is the 911 a viable piece of everyday transport for a family? Bear in mind the kids absolutely loved the Cerbera and have been giving me grief about it ever since it went!
I've got a test drive booked on Saturday with a C4 Cabriolet, is it a waste of my time and theirs? Should I be looking at an C4S? Would it be wise to wait for the 997 Cab, does anyone know when they are due for release?

Dont be silly ! Of course this isnt a family run around !!! BUT if you are determined then get a coupe and you can fit a roof rack for when you need to carry luggage! seriously.

My kids are 9 and 11 respectivly (please excuse the pun) I have owned 911`s for the last 10 years and whilst the kids are young, the 911 is perfect as a weekend 2 plus 2 car with the little ones, but...
My 11 year old (and his bigger mates) are just starting to get a bit grumpy about sitting in the back!
They love the car...but the back seat...not so cool!
