Hi All, I’m James, 19 years old and live near Norwich.
I'm looking to expand my experience and knowledge within the motorsport industry whether it be trackside or workshop based.
Training/Experience:
BTEC National Diploma in Motorsport Engineering - Grade distinction. Before this I completed BTEC National Award in Motorsport Engineering with grade distinction.
I have experience working with Lotus Motorsport with their gt2 and gt4 cars, Formula Ford, Formula Renault, Radical and Fun Cup.
During my work in motorsport I have experienced roles such as: Data logging and timing, Race mechanic and Driver liaison. I have experience working abroad having spent the past 7/8 months working in Finland on the Fisker Karma doing quality inspection and rework.
If there is anyone needing an extra hand with their racing please feel free to contact me as I’m happy to take as much experience as I possibly can. I have a full clean UK driving licence and passport so I’m able to travel.

I can't help but just wanted to say it's good to see one of these threads from someone who has actually got off their bum and done something already and isn't just looking for others to tell them what they should do and how they should do it.

Hi James, best of luck first of all!
Towards the end of the year I'll be taking my car down to Snetterton for a shakedown, the first since I've converted it myself for track use. If you want to come down, give me some support on set up etc for some experience, get in touch cook 2909 @ gmail .com
I should add, it's an E30 BMW 320, so nothign spectactular!

Cheers Duncan. I hope you get the car out again soon!
Recently I have enjoyed working on the Holden racing TVR in the Britcar series.
Still looking for more work, I know its end of season for many people, but anyone needing a hand over the winter, please let me know.
