If you want big, lots of facilities, amusements and a club house then this is not for you. If you want peaceful, small, decent toilet block/shower, 15 min walk to the sea that is "children safe", dog friendly (up to two dogs), and relatively cheap for what it is (£188/wk peak season including electric hook up and a digital TV feed) in West Wales then read on..... www.millhousecaravan.co.uk

If you want a basic campsite by beautiful beaches, with glorious scenery and a pub within walking distance, then I can totally recommend Fidden at Fionnephort on the Isle of Mull. http://www.scottishcampingguide.com/link.php?c=&am...Our favourite campsite - just a shame it is so far away - but well worth it. Actually - forget that, I don't want it getting too popular. It's absolutely rubbish and you definitely shouldn't go there.

This would be better as a wiki, but I have no idea how to make them work.

I didn't know how to either, if there was any interest in a list I was going to see if it could become at least a sticky.

Odie said: The wiki is now a sticky - and to avoid confusion and potential double posts, I'll close this thread so that the Wiki becomes the source of PH'er recommended sites.
