As per title.

I am getting a Ferrari 458 for 24 hours in a couple of weeks. It's not hired or rented but has been given to me for PR purposes. I have no mileage restrictions and am free to go where I want except on a track. The other stipulation is that the car needs to be secured safely overnight...

I want to make the most of this opportunity as I dont know how soon I will have this opportunity again...

My start point and end point on this little adventure needs to be Hertfordshire..

So what suggestions do you guys have?

Up the Kinger to hard park outside Harrods.

Or ultra brave run down the Route Napoleon for tea in Cannes with the most attractive woman you know in the passenger seat. Secure parking courtesy of the Hotel Metropole, Monte Carlo.

I know of a toll road in Germany that you could visit!

I think I'd seriously consider that, 24 hrs should be doable shouldn't it?

What about a one-way, public toll-road?

I'd get lots of sleep, stock up on Redbull, Pro-Plus and petrol money and ensure I was driving for the whole of that 24 hour period, chase the daylight.

I took a Ford GT to Tesco. That was a laugh. Bugger to find a parking space mind.

Yep. Put £2000 aside for fuel money, it is definately worth it. With effort I'm sure you could get to Monaco and back in 24hours. Think big man! You have a 458ffs.

Obviously some good driving roads would have to be done though I don't think I could have one of those without doing some proper posing too.

Get a week of good sleep beforehand and spend pretty much the entire 24 hours driving. Plenty of nice roads in Wales within reasonable travelling distance.

Do this. Anything else means you're a bummer. Fact.

1 - check weather forecast.

2 - hertfordshire - derbyshire - cheshire (via long hill, cat and fiddle) - mid wales - north wales (via Bala and betws-y-coed)- brief stint on m6 - bottom of the pennines - up the middle - left a bit (vai Alston) - lakes - hardknott pass - back up to carlisle sort of end - kielder - a68 - up to scotland - over to ayr via that awesome road just under the big lake - north scotland - go anywhere, it's all good - a696 back to Newcastle, pro plus, stick it on cruise - hertfordshire. (subject to 1, above).

Only kidding, after 6 hours of hooning, you get bored a bit. IMO if I were you i'd get myself over to wales, have fun for a few hours, then go back home and do the missus over the bonnet. Ferrari's PR department will expect nothing less =)
