Took one look outside this morning and saw the frost on the cars. Needless to say after 6mths on the bike, i maybe walking towards train station rather than riding the 15 miles each way.

Does not help when i have to run during lunch, however i am already missing the bike.

Well that wasn't so bad. Apparently it was -2 this morning. Still in shorts! Could do with better socks though.

Great frost on the fields in the countryside. I was very pleased I'd pushed myself to ride today.

Nothing wrong with shorts. Men aren't really meant to wear tights. Over boots will keep your feet warm.

Do not fear, I was not suggesting I would be moving to tights at any point!

It was very wet on the way home, but not cold.

I need a new waterproof jacket. It has been patched many times and is now leaking again.

Got wetter than an otter's pocket on the way home. Had to pour water out of my shoes before coming in the house..

You aren't going to believe this.

I had a tail wind on the way in today.

Then, come home time.....I had a tail wind!!!

Pish wet through on the way home but when the wind is on your back, it doesn't matter as much.

I am feeling rather angry / concerned for my own safety this morning.

1. A van came around a corner on the wrong side of the road and nearly hit me
2. A car ran a red light whilst i was crossing the road and nearly hit me
3. Pedestrians walking on cycle / pedestrian path in the pitch black dark = very hard to see. My lights got them at the very last minute.

Hehe me too.
Left work in shorts but took the waterproofs as I knew rain had been forecast.
Half way the wind picked up and a bit of drizzle so put on the waterproofs.

With 1.5 miles left it suddenly pissed it down and the wind just doubled. I was luckily very close to a subway so sheltered but was already soaked in the 2 mins it took to get underground !

Blimey Fridays ride home was was probably the worst all round weather I have ever ridden in!

Thick mud and flooded gravel track first , then heavy rain, then freak strong winds that pushed me to the wrong side of the road!! Ive ridden the route for 10+ years and never been actually been pushed off the road by crosswind! Then to finish off strong hail in the face!

I looked out the window and decided to drive today!
