If I had billions of dollars to spend, I'd buy the coolest robot company out there too! (Although I think it has a lot to do with the plans they have for automation, self driving cars etc etc)

Look up petman. This is a full sized human walking robot. Aparently they need it to test the durability of chemical warfare suits. If only there was a cheap way of getting a human shaped thing to walk, bend down, squat etc!

10 years down the line these things will be walking across the battlefield armed. We've had autonomous weapons systems for decades that can determine threat, and shoot at will. Add that to a self driving car, or a platform that can climb stairs etc, and you have a robotic army.

Google = Skynet.......you heard it here first smile

hehe

A friend of mine works for Deepmind (potential AI company recently purchased by google) and he informed us all by saying he was officially working on Skynet.

I'm unsure of whether it is a joke or an admission.
