http://www.silverstoneclassic.com/There's less than a month to go until this year's edition. So, I thought I'd start a thread. Looks like a good race line up this year with my favourites, the Group C cars, on all three days, including a 'night' race on Saturday. I shall be going along as usual. I'll be taking my Hawk and will be on the Stratos Enthusiasts Club stand for all three days. Hopefully, I'll get on this year's parade lap. I missed out last year because of err....car related issues. i.e. it wouldn't stop overheating.  Anyone else planning to attend? Anyone racing during the weekend? Would be good to call on a fellow PHer.

Love this event , all things shiny , classic and fast in one huge event. I will be there Friday and Saturday I expect , would love to get on track as some sort of parade but not part of any club that get's involved in this , one day , hopefully that time will come.

I do hope that the funfair is not erected close to the car clubs this year as two years ago you could not hear anything other ...Swore I would not go again because of but here's hoping ?

We're taking a large group of TVRs from Sarrrf London & will be parking with the TVRCC. First time to this event as I usually do Classic Le Mans but thought we would have a change. Nick

What is the traffic/parking like? The gates open at 7.30am daily so is it a case of turning up as early as you can each day to avoid traffic? Will be commuting from Rugby and attending Sat and Sun. Looking forward to see the F40s and Group C. Thanks.

Only a couple of weeks to go and Goodwood to enjoy first. Depending on what tickets finally arrive I may take the Exige down onto the Lotus Drivers' Club stand.
