Can't really help with the History, but is it Starmist green? If so it was one I test drove at Adrian Blyth back in 2001. He may have some history on the vehicle.

It also had reg C8CTS if anyone knows anything. I think it may have been in a rear end smash looking in the boot???

No problem. I was a very nice looking car when I test drove it. I decided to go for a newer one.
Have you had it long?

I've had it a year now,it's a bit rough but it goes well most of the time and drives pretty well considering it still has orginal suspension very happy with it

Glad your enjoying it. Good luck with finding the history for the car. It was in good condition when I was looking to buy it, but that was a long time ago.
I may have some pictures of when it was for sale actually. If I can find them I'll try to post them on here.
