JP exhausts supply ACT ,The JP (ACT) sports exhaust would be my choice unless your handy with thea welder.

The original JP exhaust which ACT sold did not have cherry bombs, just a smaller silence box which worked very well.

This is the one ,mine sounded like this before going back to the standard exhaust and keeping the Y piece. Its hard to live with.

I think I'll stick to current system until I know a little more about the car and what others have done like yourself. It certainly seems the y piece is a common mod. after all the ACT system is a good system esp if as you say they are supplied by JP. and is brand new.

Not sure how. The first time without the cat was close, but just dropped under in the last few seconds. This year, with an unknown tester and car good and warm it went through easily.

Pre-cats are still in and it runs well, which have to be a factor?

just had my Chim MOT'd and the tester told me it was classed as being a "kit car" and so only had to pass the "no visible smoke" test......Result - it'll be going back there next year!
