Can't do the run, but will come to the meet and hopefully be there in time to see (& hear) everyone arrive.

Hi Guys
In plenty's absence I will email people, BUT(!) I have no car to lead. I'll come to the pub but have no rear view mirror!
Therefore I need one or two people willing to lead a group, sorry for the short notice, it's only just gone wrong.

I can if am provided with a route file that will work on a Tom Tom!
I will need it by Saturday as well as I will probably have a quick drive to ensure I do not get lost!

Sorry for late response but wasn't sure i could make it atall....... but we're sorted and i'm in  However, i'm afraid i'm going to complicate things lol....... regular runners to this meet will remember we used to Run a different route from another start point and to be honest for me that start point is a lot closer and easier for me so may i suggest we have two seperate Runs both finishing at the meet and i'll lead Run B and Tom Run A  I count 14 runners, if everyone picks Run A then we'll drop Run B but lets see how it pans out Anyone adding themselves to Run B list will get a pm from me with exact start location and itn route file Run A - Start near Jct9 of M1 1. Talltom - Abarth Grande Punto 2. Run B - Start near Baldock Herts 6:45 Depart 1. Spiritof'76 - Escort Cosworth 2.

Could I suggest I get the slower bunch of cars Easier that way, I can do Baldock run as well, I like that one!

Guys,
Sorry to tread on any toes, but I was about to post another thread about a car show taking place this Sunday.
The annual car show in Tewin, Herts, attracts over 200 cars and last year it was fantastic.
The show starts at noon, the postcode is AL6 0LY
Car park is in a field on the left hand side, with the car show on the cricket field. On site toilets and a bar from memory, with a wicked BBQ too.
I don't know if it upsets any of these 'meet' plans but definitely worthy of a mention, as it's hardly advertised as much of an event but certainly a good way to waste a couple of hours.
I'll be going!
