That's a superb car he has - in the very desirable Jewish Racing Gold, as well. At first, I thought he was calling it a day with the car, over a bit of glass, and I was going to offer to buy it. Fantastic car. smile

It's poor. In fairness, Stick actually meant 2002 tii

Stick, the Compacts dimensions are very similar to the E30 M3. Very very similar in the E36 Compact.

Have you not got glass cover on it Liam? I had a rear screen out of my insurance in the same relatively painless way you would claim for a front screen. Just a thought.

sadly no, i only insure it 3rd party. the difference for 3rd party and fully comp is still <£500 for me as i only have a couple of years no claims to use on it.

so as long as no other windows shatter on me this year i'll still have done the better deal hehe

No problem mate. Thought I'd mention it, as quite a few people only think about their windscreen being covered.

You weren't talking in years, when you mentioned the 2002.tongue out

You have to talk in numbers, as a 1993 3 series could be an E36 saloon or coupe, but would still be the older E30 shape for the Touring or 'Vert.

Liam's E46 Compact was one of the first produced, in August 2001, yet the shape had been used for other models since about 1998.
