Been looking all over for some good drilled discs but can't find any anywhere, can anyone help me?
Also any suggestions for good pads to use for road use with the occasional track visit

I'm not an EBC Fanboy, but the Yellowstuff do work and they're cheap at about £55 for front or £40 rear. Most importantly they work from cold.

Dont buy drilled discs, they crack. Get grooved so the pads can "gas off".
Buy decent pads, i import CL, but Pagid, and Ferodo make decent stuff too.
Look to spend in excess of £100 for anything decent, they will pay you back in performance and longevity.

I've been using Hawk HP Plus for track biased brakes but their HP 'S' range is great for fast road with little brake dust.

What discs have you currently got?
There are loads of old threads giving you options but it depends where you are starting from.

IF you have standard brakes, you may be limited to drilled.
I have had to replace my rears with drilled as thats all i could get and they are a RIP OFF, £450 a pair, considering BMW discs with internal drum can be sourced <£100.
I am looking at alternatives for these.
My last drilled rears cracked and split like a small piece of pizza had been cut out of them!
If you can avoid drilled then do so.

No real issues with standards just want to make the brakes abit better if possible, not sure what pads are in at the minute as just picked the car up today but there not the best so definitely need new pads in

if your discs are serviceable then just upgrade the pads, buy a proper brand, you have to spend £100+ to access the decent stuff.
The 3 letter brand just does not cut it.

Brummmie said: The 3 letter brand just does not cut it. My Sag had EBC Red Stuff pads on it, done about 12,000 on them, and they seemed 'ok' at best, never giving any real bite unless warm. Had the discs skimmed, as I think the pads caused uneven disc wear, and standard TVR pads fitted (which are now identical to Ferodo DS2500).... Braking is transformed. Don't waste your money on inferior pads.
