Hi Guys
Been in the drivers footwell and for the life of me can't see if the throttle cable is a ball or barrel fitting ? also could some one please advise on the gearbox rubber mounts located on the side of the box as this got ripped when pulling or fitting the engine, hopefully it just screws into the side of the box and what type of gearbox is it please, many thanks, RaLph

The mount is screw in to the side of the box. The box is usually a 5-speed LT77 (reverse is to the left and front). So you can use SDi mounts.

Rh a small piece of advice when fitting the new gearbox bobbin mounts:

Screw into the gearbox first then using a bar lever the other ends into place in the chassis. Remember new ones will be stiffer than the old ones but they will go.

Lot easier if you can use a ramp mind.

Oh and i nearly forgot you will of course need to jack the gearbox up by approx 25mm to give you clearance to unscrew the old mounts. There will be a lot of creaking and groaning but it will go! No need to disconnect prop or anything mate.
