No they shouldn't, that's too kind. They should be tortured and then have their gobs sewn up. And then they should be sat somewhere nice and warm, in the sunshine.
Ah, perhaps I should clarify. 16 rounds delivered in sets of two over a period of two weeks.... Starting with the feet....That's horrific, anyone able to do that to a defenceless creature deserves the same treatment, maybe a few extra limbs just to even it out.
Don't dogs sweat through their tongues? meaning she would be in much more pain and discomfort in that heat than just having been beaten (I don't quite mean that the way it sounds, obviously being beaten is bad enough).

Not sure on details, I think when they have their tongues out panting it's their most effective way of keeping cool. I hope it recovers as much as possible, they can be very resilient.
I fully agree that these people who do this do not deserve to be alive.
What annoys me thought is that everyone jumps up saying they should have a slow painful death for doing this to an animal, yet these same people argue that the death penalty should be abolished in texas.
So it seems for these people it is ok to kill a human and spend 25 years in jail, however, kill an animal and it's a slow painful death for them. I don't get it.

Which people? Are these the mythical people that are used to bolster any argument whichever way?Personally I'd be happy to see the person that did this hang, and don't have a problem with the death penalty either.
