Car number 2, Vectra SRi
Discussion
I did have a 2001 Fiesta Zetec S until Monday passed when it died. (after 153k miles!!) So after that I decided I wanted something good on fuel comfy and big. Problem being I had a tight budget of around £2k and with only being 18 insurance isnt really cheap on anything.
Decided I wanted a Vectra Sri CDTI 150, so spent a while looking for one. Went and had a look at this one yesterday around 120 miles from home and decided I wanted it! 04 plate and on 100k miles which is more than I wanted but with a full service history and a receipt for a recent timing belt I wasnt too worried about the mileage. Not got much plans for it maybe just a remap and a 40mm drop enough waffle here's some pictures!
I'm not the one in the picture, I'm a young whippersnapper

Cheers Dave, well my car will soon be on my C13 SKN private plate so keep an eye out! Most likely to be sitting on Dunlappie road! haha.
Petrolhead95: I don't find them that bad, did a total of 300 miles yesterday including driving it up from where I bought it in Airdrie and I had to have a stretch every now and then but I wasnt too bad. How old was it when you had it though, my mum has a 11 plate SRI astra and her seats are awful i think with them being so un-used!
BorkFactor I'm a big fan of one make forums (was an avid poster on ZSOC for a while) but the Vectra forum is a daunting place with a lot of threads put up regarding engine faults etc but as far it's been faultless and extremely frugal! on the 150miles home on the M/W and D/C's it averaged 60.5mpg! I'm from Brechin but have been known to wander north! Dark red 3 series you have isnt it?

I think we got it new out the dealer in 2006, but I'm not sure. We've got a brand new SRi Astra and I quite like them. Has your mum got the sport seats in it?Petrolhead95 said:
