Hi we're planning a trip to the Corvette Show on Lake Garda and looking to have a few stopovers on our return.
What are the road conditions likely to be around the san Moritz area at the end of May? bearing in mind we'll be in a Vette, and probably an automatic one.
Any places you can recommend a couple of nights stopover and maybe a couple of decent mountain pass roads.
Thanks.

May is a bit early for the high passes to be open. The Julier will be open as it's kept open through the winter. As for places to stay the area has lots at a wide variety of prices. We do most of our skiing in the area and take the family to Inn Lodge. It's modern, well priced but short of any luxuries. I think it's owned by the lift company & in the winter the national sports teams seem to stay there. I have heard very good things about lej da staz. I've eaten there lots of time but never stayed. They have a few partner places which look nice.
