Yesterday Morning:
Dawn raid including breakfast at Loomies, then hightailed it home before the idiots hit the road.

Yesterday afternoon:
Stripped-out the Airbox, completely removed all the flapper valve gubbins then gave her a couple of laps of my local test track (the induction noise is even better now ....superb) Ahead of a Custom remap (being picked-up tomorrow) to suit.

Re flapper valve:
I had previously cable-tied the valve open (as per flapper valve mod) then had her custom mapped a good few years ago...she pulled 130.2bhp and had very strong mid-range and top-end (for a 929) according to the Dyno operator.

It will be interesting to see how she performs now, As the last time she was on the rollers was not long after I got her (So I'd guess it was about 10 years ago, I'd have to have a look on my old graph to check the date)

Same Dyno btw.

I would have been more annoyed if it had worked that way, but no, the one I ended up with hadn't even been on display in the shop, I think it was out of desperation that he brought the HJCs out.

On a side note, the other half was having as much trouble as me getting one to fit.

Had a blast to Helmsley via the B1257, then across Blakey Ridge into Whitby, where I saw this:

Looks much better in the flesh IMO.

Action shot!

(shot from my iPhone video placed on the floor)

Knee down. hehe

I've seen him many times at that roundabout. He does three laps scraping his sliders then go off. Everyday.

Had a chat and he said he only does 30mph to knee down as he gets scared going any faster!

Public Holiday in Oman today so I borrowed a friends bike and rode 70km along the coast and back. The 45 degrees C was a bit of a killer though and with it being Ramadam I couldn't stop for a drink.

Whilst a cruiser is not normaly my style of bike, it was nice to be out on the road again.

274.9 miles today and only 17 of them on an M-Way - knackered and sore! Did the length of the A272 both ways. The most awesome road I've ever ridden!

thats exactly what we did today
