Can you get signs to go in the car like those baby on board ones? I don't know how you do it quite honestly, my stomach would win every time.

got a bit of a tough ramadan like every year
i start work in security when its opening time and dont leave work till closing time has passed...
so the choice of foods adn what not is severely limited
i'm even considering cooking the food - puttin it into a blender and then taking it with me as a power drink *LOL*
pop in the samosa's, fruit, dates, chutney and then blend. yummy.

I'm guessing the body would go into starvation mode and store any fat that is eaten.

Interesting thread, but not as interesting as a bacon sarnie. Or should I have bacon and eggs? Decisions...

I have a genuine question which I asked some of the muslim guys at work;
Is putting yourself on night shift kind of "cheating" when it comes to Ramadan?
Some said yes, some said no. What say you?

Starvation mode is a state in which the body is responding to prolonged periods of low energy intake levels. During short periods of energy abstinence, the human body will burn primarily free fatty acids from body fat stores. After prolonged periods of starvation the body has depleted its body fat and begins to burn lean tissue and muscle as a fuel source.
How do you think animals survive metabolic hibernation?

It cant do your body much good, especially if your in a hot country and working and no water.....

Some said yes, some said no. What say you? It does not say anywhere that you must stay awake during the fasting period. So I say fair game.
