I don't think you need to tell the DVLA if you change the colour via a wrap. Could be wrong.

You are correct. DVLA are only interested in permenant chassis colour changes. So wraps aren't included, neither are changing the bolt on panels of a Smart car.

nope i actually own the car, i googled my reg to find a picture of the car when it was matte black, i found this instead. yes the cars been stage 3 remapped and has has alot of money spent on the engine hence the noise.
