Hi,

My work (22 riders) are doing a charity ride next may for Help Harry and start in Solihull and finish in Paris over 4 days.

Day two starts in Hemel Hempstead and finishes in Dover, we are going through London for a photo opportunity as we pass over London Bridge and whilst trying to keep to a minimum distance it would be nice to pass through a through sights to add interest to the ride.

From Abbey Road we make our way to Marble Arch to, Hyde Park, Constitution Hill, The Mall, Horse Guards Road, Downing St, past St Pauls, across London Bridge, Greenwich Park and out of London towards Dover.

My knowledge of London is very little and its my job to sort the route, what i am missing is the opportunity to cycle along the edge of the Thames assuming there is a suitable path, could somebody with local knowledge advise me if the above is suitable for a group of 22 riders en masse and any other advice re the intended route would be gratefully recieved,

Regards,

Martyn

In the leg "Downing Street and then past St Pauls" just drop down to the river from Trafalgar Square and then cycle along the Embankment rather than using the Strand/Fleet Street.

+1. It's a great section - you'd want to go Downing St to Parliament Sq then from there onto Emnbankmant east bound.

You get to see (amongst other things) Westminster Abbey, Westminster Palace (aka Houses of Parliament & Big Ben), London Eye, Oxo Tower (phnarr phnarr), Globe Theatre, Shard, Milenium Bridge and Tate Modern.

Then swing up round St Pauls if you can.

Do you mean London Bridge or Tower Bridge?
