Hello Everyone, A question from a thickie requiring some help,my sky plus box is on its last legs so as sky no longer do the sky plus box I thought I would treat myself and upgrade to hd plus in time for the footie season,now how can I tell if my tv is hd capable ? their are no markings anywhere the tv in question is a Sony Bravia model no KDL-32S3000 Thanks for any help.

Google KDL-32S3000 and you'll find details on the TV.

If it has an HDMI port then it is HD ready.

While it is HD ready, you'll find that you have to sit pretty close to 32" to see much benefit from HD. I have the older version 32W2010 model in my conservatory fed from a Humax HD box and TBH it's hard to tell the difference between BBC One and BBC One HD for example from approx 2.5 metres away. The set in my kitchen is much closer at about 1.5 metres from the dinning table and the effect of HD is much more noticeable.

Of course it could always be an excuse to buy a bigger TV...
