Chewing gum was on park bench, got on lady's arse. Lady sat in MIL's car and now brand new car has chewing gum on the seat.
I have removed gum before successfully but I've killed so many brain cells since then, I've no clue how I did it? Solvent?
Any help appreciated.

Solvent would work, but I'd start by freezing it first to remove most of it. If anything's left that won't come out with brushing (I'm assuming cloth seats) then isopropyl alcohol or vinegar to remove the rest, which will be gentle on the fabric. Failing that then solvents, but I'd always be a little concerned about colour fastness on the seats and unseen damage.

Any help appreciated. Solvent abuse will defiantly kill brain cells, that was probably it.

But Im unsure how to freeze an in-situ seat?

Ice cubes in a plastic food bag, or one of those compressed air sprays held upside down work well (or a bigger freezer )
