Unleaded and older Pork

Quick post before I go out - will look up for any replies later..

Question is:

Are older Porsches ( say from 1970 through to the modern stuff ) Ok for lead free fuel or is conversion needed?

Seller told me an 82' will run on just about anything,but Optimax seems as good as any

Take a look at the fuel chart in the 'extras' section of Hartechs website:

As I understand it, older Porsche all have hardened valve seats so can cope without the lead but some models may need to have the ignition retarded to cope with the 95 Ron unleaded. Alternatively simply always use 98 Ron Super Unleaded
