Been on here a little while as probably one of a small group of young petrolheads and have post a few pictures up but not what you'd call a regular, but anyway that's not what this thread is for, I'd like to share with you all what for most people is a major event in there life, the purchase of my first car, she may not be the most powerful of cars or the biggest but she'll do to get me to work, once I've passed my test that is. She's already sporting an Orange smiley, on the boot. Video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fxNE7w2CKZ8&li...Thanks Nathan

Looks top notch.
I used to have its sister, the 106 1.1, was a brilliant little car to hoon around in. You will prob learn a bit about mechanics too - plenty of things you can fix with a hammer which is a bonus

Learnt to drive in one, and later went on to sell them, fond memories! Poseidon blue, if I'm not mistaken.
Nice cars to drive really, and a much nicer car then the C2/C3 that followed. That front end looks more Furio model than Desire to me, has somebody changed the bumper?

Excellent little car. '02' reg is like a new car (though I can't believe it is now ten years old!).

I think you will always remember your first car. When are the McDonalds wrappers, Lexus Lights coming?! I think they are a standard fit on most Saxo's. Maybe not the Desire trim level though.. Have fun! I see you have already made the best mod - the PH sticker. Well done!

I considered one of these as my first car, but then discovered that the pedal box is made for people with tiny girl feet. Don't you think?

My wife had a Citroen Saxo as a first car. Was quite nice if memory serves. She had a ltd edition with yellow bits round the interior including a bright yellow gear knob! Hope you enjoy the freedom it now brings you

Thanks all, I haven't changed the bumper so I wouldn't know, JayTee: the smiley is the only mod she'll get for now, As a man with size 11 feet the pedal box is a tad cramped but I'll get used to it the more I drive it

Had one of these for my first car. Kept it for 4 years and did 60,000 miles in it. Never broke down despite being subjected to years of abuse! Great little cars!
