Yes, my proof reading is guff, normally because I am doing other things at the time, and PH is a low priority on that score. Still, I'd take the occasional crap spelling, or unfortunate spellcheck goof, alread of not being able to answer questions about things I have made statements about.
You ask me about any of the opinions I give, and I shall explain to you why I think them. This is something you are, time and time again, unable to do.

You really have to wonder...
"Opposition parties have put pressure on the Chancellor to scale back his austerity drive, which many say is failing to kickstart the economy."
An austerity drive is never going to kickstart the economy, that's not the point. What planet are these people on?

How on earth can you articulate an argument about how terrible the current economic situation is, and not even have an idea as to why you think it, apart from being told on various articles that 'it's bad mmmkay'? If you want to argue that we need to increase spending, then where is that money coming from, who provides said money, what will be cut if the taxation spate is not to be increased, and so on, and so forth. You k ow money doesn't grow on trees, don't you? Do you simply was to see individual somewhat meaningless stats improved, or is there a bigger picture you are looking at?

I can't be responsible for people carrying chips on their shoulder's interpreting my post to suit their own ends. In future I will try and post only positive things about the Scots economy, this is often quite problematic.

Cutting the budget deficit isn't a means of stimulating an economy, there was never any expectation that would happen. What it does do is apply some level of fiscal responsibility that convinces the debt market that the long term structural problem of debt and deficit are being addressed and that they don't need to be concerned about it. That keeps the interest rates on borrowing down which in turn helps to cut the deficit.

Go and look at the old thread where that was answered... The bottom line is that it's CLEARLY not working and some sort of change is needed. Not having my hands on the reins, it is not for me to say what the alternative should be. But it is obvious their should be one. I'm quite happy to go with what the SNP or Labour or Boris are proposing. I find it amazing that when presented with clear evidence that the 'policies' of Mr. 110% are not working that you are so sychophantic to still blindly support him and his fellow numpties. It's quite extraordinary behaviour...
