Does anyone have any experience of Crockett & Jones? I'm getting married towards the end of the year and I'm thinking of treating myself to a pair. I usually wear Barkers for work but fancy something else for this occasion.
They are very nice. The shoe geeks over at stylenet rate them higher than Churches and generally favour them over other brands at similar price points.

Whether they are worth the significant premium over Barkers, is ultimately a personal call. The law of diminishing returns certainly applies when it comes to luxury goods.

Yeah they're the ones. I just went plain black with blue stitching as I don't really do 'funky'.

Thanks. I've just dropped some shoes off at the cobblers for a re-sole and asked him if he had any experience of them. "I've got a couple of pairs myself- get them bought" was the response. And this was from a Yorkshireman.

Crocketts are the best. Fit, range, and materials are all the best of the entry level. Don't hesitate

New Geoxs to replace the others which must be at least 5 years old. Tried other brands to replace them but nothing was as comfortable. Unfortunately it seems like the price has gone up and quality gone down since I bought the first pair; I doubt the new ones will last as long

Thank you to those who gave your opinions on the Crockett and Jones. I bought a pair of the Edgeware this morning.
