Roermond Outlet in the Netherlands? I was last there December last year and to be honest struggled to find much of a bargain at the Church shop, although the exchange rate is a little better since I visited.
Yes - going there tomorrow.I wasnt planning on going but a few friends of mine have said with the currect euro exchange rate there are some potential bargains to be had...
ETA: Dec fx rate was arounf 1.25 against the pound whereas now it's 1.40ish.
Do you rememeber how much Churchs were going for there?

I'm sorry, I can't honestly remember the exact prices but from memory not really any cheaper then finding them on offer in the UK. Do let me know how you get on, I'm about due another trip out there!
I ended up going yesterday evening -You were right no 'bargains" as such in churches- but there were some in other shops.
The shoes I liked were about £220 after conversion- as I was in a little rush I decided to wait to get back to the UK before I purchase my first pair of Churches.
I found some real bargains in Prada, Tods , Ferregamo and Gucciif any of those are suitable for you,
I managed to get some suede loafers from Prada that once converted came to £71. - I was lucky with these as last pair and were in the sale section.

£220 for Church's is a good price. The subs from the Church's factory shop are £190.
For info, the shoes from designer brands can be a little hit and miss. Some are made by the likes of Crockett & Jones but others are of a cheaper glued construction. For £71 it's worth a punt though!

Just ordered myself a new pair where my other half works. Should be about 2-3 weeks.
My fiance is a shoemaker.
Really looking forward to getting them, they're gonna be bold!
Heres my last pair she made for me last year. These will need a re-sole soon as I went for a very soft, but comfy sole.
I appreciate we all have our own taste. My fiance is a shoemaker.

BUT!
Are you actually going to wear those? In public?

I know there are haters out there, but these are exceedingly comfy. Probably the comfiest I think I've ever had. They took a few weeks to bed in though....BUT!

These are my daily hack shoe.
The OH brought home some offcuts of the leathers I've chosen for my next pair.
In a deck shoe. The main colour and laces will be "waxy ruby" and the cuff and insole will be "sky blue".
They won't be a million miles off these ones-

Whilst not quite in the Arsenalmorris envelope, I go to the US 2-3 times a year and tend to always pick up some Nike trainers from the outlet shop as they are cheap - I now have quite a few pairs and I doubt I will ever get round to wearing them all.
Unfortunately I have one leg shorter than the other (30mm) as a result of a childhood disease which means that once the hospital build the left one up it seriously reduces my ability to sell them on eBay
Here are my latest -
I also seem to have a developed a large 501 collection...if anybody is 32/32 or 33/32 I could probably sort you out with some cheap pairs....classified advert posted

I love a pair of Nike trainers. The two at the back are the newest additions, apparently I'm going shopping tomorrow and I've been after a pair of the Free 5.0 in blue and yellow, so there may be another added...Unfortunately I have one leg shorter than the other (30mm) as a result of a childhood disease which means that once the hospital build the left one up it seriously reduces my ability to sell them on eBay

Are brogues whats in, as I never thought on them and can't imagine ever buying them, but the thread seems to have a lot of them?
No,they're bloody hideous, its mainly a ph thing."Broguing" refers to the decorative punched holes (originally to let water out)and are applied to many types of shoe the most popular styles are Oxfords and Derbys.
However, what does seem to be in fashion is people wearing "brogues" inappropriately thinking they are smart/formal shoes (I have recently had the misfortune to see a pair of black patent brogues). As far as leather shoes go they are about as informal as they get - designed for traversing muddy fields and streams.
