Are the ones on the left the Clarks Montacute Lord? I really like the style as they look a bit like £500 traditional Trickers Stow Boots. The only thing I'm not sure of is the finish on the leather. It looks like it would wear out really quickly and look "distressed". Those already look well worn to me.
They are exactly those!

Bought these earlier on, having entered the shop with no intention of buying myself anything...

My third pair of Loakes, but my first pair of 1880 Loakes. So far am very VERY happy with them.

Here's a shot of them with jeans-

Bought both of these yesterday with a view to return my least favourite. Im still undecided. For reference im 27. Wanted them for generally walking around when its cold and going out in to meet friends/dates events and things.

What are the ones on the right?

I'm back in the UK in 2 weeks for a holiday and the only thing I want are a decent pair of boots.

Very nice boots. They'd look better with narrower jeans.

Anyone seen anything outstanding in the sales/deals on this weekend?

I wear Sweeney slip-on's or dealer boots for work usually with grey/navy trousers, not sure why but I have an aversion to laces other than on trainers.

The whole lot would look better down the charity shop.

Agreed. I didn't have my belt on at the time, so the jeans were sitting lower than normal.

Focus on the boots guys!

I have short legs and the jeans are 'short'. The first time any part of me has appeared on here, and it is literally my feet and ankles, and I get pulled apart.

Excuse me whilst I go and cry.

Has anyone bought the newish convese chuck taylor II's? I'm quite tempted to get a low-top pair in white, especially for when I go on holiday.

Those boots are fine, tan never quite photographs right IMO. I suspect most people don't post up pictures of themselves for very good reasons.

Naylor Top boots in brown with a warm lining. Probably available without too.
