Yup - that's the plan !

Well i have got a Lexus ls400 4.0l V8 ,(£500 so what the hell) have removed at last count 282KG !! of interior trim ,boot trim, under bonnet trim , other trim , stuff i don't want/need etc etc

I have recently fitted a Wizards of Nos Nitrous oxide kit , jetted at present for approx 80-100 BHP boost but system capable off 150BHP boost

At present researching best options for the exhaust system

The plan is to transplant this engine into a Renault Grand Espace

Tell me does this sound like madness or genius ??????

Espace is FWD, Lexus V8s are RWD, are you going to go for a mid mount? If so, you could always leave the front engine in...

Go for it.

Bit of thinking to do yet tho, but all can be overcome.

Transmission so you can drive it, driveline to rear wheels, better suspension & brakes.

Yeah that. Level of madness will be confirmed dependant on drive configuration... Although I think you'll find you'll struggle for FWD - its not a short engine.

I can see where you got a little inspiration from hehe

Go for it, should be an interesting project to say the least.

Once complete, all you need is Alain Prost to test it for you around Paul Ricard biggrin

What's the difference in wheelbase? Might be simpler to use the Lexus floor plan in the Espace body and then cage it.

That was an amazing thing. I remember watching it lap Silverstone at one of the F1 rounds.

Slightly off topic, but any pictures of the Lexus, never seen a 'racing' version hehe

That sounds vaguely sensible given the lunacy on display here.

I believe he means with the interior stripped.

I use the term 'racing' lightly. A Lexus with no interior? Closest you'll probably find hehe
