I've got a week long break in Rome in a couple of weeks time. I'm staying by the Trevi Fountain and looking for recommendations for places to eat away from the tourist traps.

ai spaghettari - piazza san cosimato, 58
alfredo al campidoglio - via di priscilla, 128
trattoria polese - piazza sforza cesarini, 4
da lucia - vicolo del mattonato, 2
sora margherita - piazza delle cinque scole, 30
was there few years ago: simple places (all of them), good food, rather cheap places (unusual for rome), rather unpolite people (usual for rome).
don't eat too much.

Si, thumbs up for Sora Margherita, if you like that also try Betto & Mary ( Via dei Savorgnan, 99) for Pajata etc.
