Well got what I wanted for my DBS and have loved owning the car, thanks for the advise and chats but have now gone down the Maserati Grancabrio sport route. We fancied a change and needed a proper 4 seats!

Brilliant choice, GranCabrio is a car I lust after as well. All the character of an Aston but genuine usable backseats smile

You'll probably miss the torque, but what a great noise (for a kid's engine) and it's hardly sluggish smile

Being nosey and also because I'll be on the market for a DBS next year, but how close to dealer price did you get for your DBS? Or, if I'm direct, how much did you get for it in the end? I won't be offended if you don't answer, it is a nosey question.

am looking at the mas myself but the depreciation is horrendous on them. certainly they are an amazing 4 seater ragtop and i think nicer than the bentley but the GTC does seem to hold the money better.
just that it is a bentley.

I've been thinking about one to replace the SL and have checked on them for about a year, 12 months ago the cheapest available was £75k now it's £65k which is reasonable however they don't seem to be shifting much as the same cars pop up.
When the sport was announced it was the only one to have and I'm waiting for a 12m old sport sometime next year. Sport now at £95k pre reg with essential options and before haggling so maybe available at £75k in a year?

it looks like you paid £110k inc extras for it and then two years later is is advertised at 65k maybe take an offer £60k so you have taken a pill of £2k per month...ouchy ouch.
least thats what it looks like.
i would want the new one though so yes i think might be a wait for me as well. a pleasure postponed.

Sports are holding up well (bugger) were just over £80k but I think that's where they will stop for a while, they seem in demand.

There was a very nice red SLS convertible at the Merc garage in Leeds today. £129k, not a bad price I thought for an exceptional car. I'd love one.

Well I'll be there in 2-3 weeks for a test drive of an Exige. They didn't have a right lot of Lotuses (Lotii?) in if you're planning on going in. There was a lovely 340R but it had been horrendously modified and was already sold. A lovely chrome orange Evora too. Mainly it was full of Conti GTs sleep

Hopefully they will get a lurid colour Exige in soon then I can look at swapping my S3 for it smile
