I'm after a quality cover for when the car is parked outside. Anybody know where I can get one specifically for the Monaro?

Thanks.

Monaro 5.7 was doing some car covers last year for little money and they protected mine all last winter.

the cover i did last year was not a specific fit for the Monaro but it did cover the car with plenty to spare and mine stayed on for the winter throw all the wind and rain.

Specialised car covers, perfect tailor fit. Designed to be left outside and withstand harsh weather.

Not cheap at 250 odd but very effective and soft.

I can get some photos tomorrow

I was after a cover as well...Ordered one from 'coveryourcar'... Spoke to the guy there and he said yes it will fit the Monaro VXR... but it didn't fit?? frown it wouldn't cover the back properly...Called him back and he sent out a larger one...that too didn't fit at the back... After i sent him some pics he said sorry but thats the only sort he had unless i want to have one specially made for ££££.. eek
This cover would fit a CV8 but not the VXR's with the high rear spoiler...
Well made covers and nice guy to deal with...I ended up buying a cover for the porsche which fits well(very snug) Plus has plenty of layers and breathable.... No i don't own the company
So if someone knows of a person that supplies a cover for a VXR Monaro(and FITS)...Then i'm all ears ears

When I bought my car it had a cover in the boot I'll see what company it is. I lent it a mate and he cut it in half and it was big enough to cover two original minis.

Looks...well, probably effective wink

It gets really windy up my road, think I'd need the budgie-smuggler lycra version eek

e: I guess I'm mistakenly looking at the indoor covers...clearly I don't know anything about car covers.

The one I have has 4 straps to keep it on.

1 under front bumper, 2 in the middle, 1 under rear bumper

Mine being a VXR, I might encounter a problem also.

After buying the cheapest ones I could (three times) and them either not being waterproof, too flimsey or just too small, I finally took the plunge on a Semi-tailored fully waterproof and fully lined outdoor cover.

Absolutely waterproof and lined with a fluffy cotton lining it's heavy (c.8KG) so won't move around and has one central pair of holes for a chord if needed. It's long enough for the R8 and with the windows folded in goes right down to the sill - so for a Monaro would be a great fit.

Really impressed with the quality of it - and the best bit is it was around £40 on ebay. Will dig out details if anyone's interested.
