My Clio 197 needs a timing belt doing! whos not going to ruin it or cost me thousands?

normally i would put a cam belt kit and possible a water pump on it at the same time not just a belt !

Don't know where you are, but rvs in peterborough have always done me well. The chap who runs it is a top bloke too (it's not me by the way!)

I guy I use who is a French specialist and even owns a 197 and a v6!!! Cm chambers in weybread near harleston.

i know an excellent mobile mechanic, he will come to you for free and do all the work at a time that suits you, I had him do a lot of work on my car, he was cheap and the work was well done, he knows his stuff let me know and i will dig out his number

French Connection in East Dereham are very good. My father used them for his Peugeot routinely and I had them do a bit of work on my Vectra. They found an electrical issue on the 405 that had flummoxed three main Peugeot dealers and kept the car reliable well past 200,000 miles.
