Hi any one know if the 9th generation honda accord will be made in for the uk market and when? Cheers

I'm sure I read in one of those auto-rag magazines some months ago the accord was being dropped in the UK if not the whole of Europe due to poor sales.

Correct. In the UK they're only selling about 2500/yr. I've seen it suggested that Honda may sell the US version in Europe but it's a different car.
The current car is imported from Japan so Honda are taking a big hit due to exchange rates but there's no way the volume makes sense to build it in the UK.

So its just for u.s market ? Since the accord in u.s the 9th generation will be available to by september 19 this month

In Australia Honda sells both - Accord and Accord Euro (have a look on the Honda Australia website). Info suggests that there won't be a Euro gen 9 but it unclear whether the US version will be offered here.

So it should be more clearer when its nearer to 2013 so in 3 months time we should kniw what honda will do?

Well that was the 8th genration but looking at the new accord for the u.s market after haveing a long hard look its been redesigned very well interior exterior and if honds market it well this car really does have everything you need in my opinion... i have not seen honda officially confirm anything yet tho...
