Based on a genuine 964 RS and I think an absolutely stunning car. But having been b*stardised, it's no longer an "original" 964 RS nor is it a 3.8 RS, primarily lacking a throttle butterfly in each inlet tract setup that the original 3.8 RS had.

Colin Bolton said "We're looking for offers around £125k" on RL in December of last year.

So seriously, what's it worth ? (and please, none of the usual "What someone is willing to pay for it" type answers" smile

Much as i like it mate
It must be worth less than a 964RS as its been fecked around with IMO.
I think this has been available for a while as well.

My thoughts precisely Ed. It's the old, "well it cost me £~#*@%$ to modify it, so on that basis it must be worth £ABCXYZ now" scenario.

Much rather have the black 993 RS that's listed beneath that advert.

I know nothing of these cars values, but to me that 964 RS isn't worth any more than the 993 RS at £89995.00

That's the nicest looking Porsche I have ever seen. It just works. (haven't even clicked the link to look at the spec - just saying).

I must admit I do agree. For me, that's what a 911 looks like. I think the 911 has now gone on too long...

Why would someone do that to an RS? Lightweight with those wide body panels is stretching things and I doubt it drives anywhere near as well an original unmolested RS.

You may well be right. And it is an icon. It was the car on my bedroom wall as a kid in the 80s. However it's very much flawed and merely a cash cow now for Pork. We all know if they wanted to the cayman could blitz it if they put a serious engine in it.

He'll be looking for many year's to come if he's really expecting someone to stump up £125k for a bitsa

I would have thought somewhere in the range £75k - £85k depending on the quality of the restoration

I don't really like the look of it. I'd honestly prefer a mint 964RS to this so on that basis, to me it's worth less than £75k. Don't shoot me - only an opinion!

Cheers
