Chelsea heat map from last night. Pretty accurate I'd say.

If only we'd adopte Barca's attacking style. After all, that worked brilliantly against Athletico in the last round didn't it?

Sure, ignore the dozens of trophies they've won in the last 10 years and pick out one bad game. Seems to be working pretty well for LFC and Bayern Munich.

Some people haven't got a clue about how to win champions league ties. Liverpool supporters mainly . I can't think why.

I detect a lot of sniping posts from fans of clubs from this years European Losers Group

Remind me how many CL titles Chelsea have and how many Liverpool have?

You may well have a point, but you also have to take it on the chin that the brand of football Maureen offers is tedious beyond compare. Neither would most fans I suspect, accept that his is THE way to win cups. A double decker bus and a Ferrari will get you to where you want to go, but I know which I'd rather be in.

Yeah. Get with it Ross. Like an old colonel holding on to the bastions of an empire which crumbled years ago, here is a Liverpool supporter who just loves looking backwards . A long way backwards.

I don't disagree with the sentiment. The problem is, if you ask your average football fan they will say they would rather win the trophy ugly than lose in style. I can see their point - history only records who won, not how.

I don't enjoy the way we are playing right now, but when you look at our strikers we have no option than to win ugly.

Edit : I seem to recall a team coming to Stamford Bridge in 2005 and shutting up shop for a 0-0. That team then won the return leg and the trophy. The name escapes me....

Isn't it pretty much down to us that the Premier League still gets 4 spots?

That was more Mourinho deflection, We had the best chance of the game missed by Robbie Keane unfortunately

Having one chance on the counter does not negate you playing for a draw. The more desperate the home team gets to score, the more chance there is of an away goal. That's part of the plan .

Not sure why you put it down to Mourinho defection.

Who was the manager then? Different times. Besides, had you asked me, I would have agreed that two wrongs don't make a right. Still leaves Maureen the apex practitioner of anti football.
