Saints fan here..... I've been very impressed by your teams start to the season, but the way you are playing is great for the Premier league. I know that at times you will need to play with more defensive tactics, but seeing your team pass the ball and create chances the way you are is great for all of the neutrals.
Obviously I hope you have an off day when you play the Saints, but I think you're odds on for the league

Crikey, how did we get away with that goal. Bad foul by Fibreglass in the build up who then goes on to score!
Texted my lad who's at the Bridge to tell him it was a foul, and he says it was obvious to him and all around him it was a foul.

Still, not complaining.

What a signing Fabregas has been. 4 games 6 assists. Arsenal fans must be sick.
Nope. We're top heavy with these kind of midfielders and needed to focus on other areas in the transfer market. My regret is we didn't get another defender and a top quality defensive midfielder, which would have made a huge difference to us.
Buull sheeet mr Han man. Fabregas would be an asset to any premier league team.
Yes he would indeed, I haven't said he wouldn't be.

The statement was made that Arsenal fans must be sick seeing how well Febregas is doing for Chelsea. Of course some are, I personally am more sick that despite the talent we have at Arsenal we have a hopeless Manager that doesn't know how to get the best out of them and failed to strengthen in the areas we needed.

If you had been paying attention and you're quite welcome to check. I said long before Fabregas moved this summer he was not a priority to improve our team. We needed a quality defensive midfielder and we need to play Ozil in the right position, we've done neither.

I'm 41 years old and supported Arsenal for 30 years, I've long since accepted players come and go and that's just part and parcel of the game.

So, no I'm not a bullstter and take exception to being called one.

I've said this to anyone wishing to listen to me - re-signing Drogba was a mistake. He should have come back to be a coach, not a player. We would have been much better off bringing in a youngster like Bamford. Too many people get nostalgic with Drogba and forget it was years ago he was at his best for us and the drop off with age is exponential.

Anyway, tonight's score served us right. Took the foot off the gas and didn't give the opposition enough respect. We'll still qualify though.

Not sure where you got that idea. There are two large flags waved when the team comes on but the people waving them aren't specifically employed for that purpose. As far as I am aware they are ball boys. The waving lasts all of a minute each half.

Yes - and like I said they do that for a minute at the start of each half. You don't seriously believe they are employed just for that, do you ?

EDIT: I'm going to keep an eye on them next Wednesday and see where they go.

Don't Arsenal do the same thing with the flags?

The cup thing is a bit 'trying too hard' for me. I suppose they do need to make the most of it though.

wink

Well the whole world is watching so why not.

The Champions & Europa leagues group stages are fast becoming tedious . Fantastic from the last 8 onwards.

It's a pointless exercise, trying educate a dipper as to just where those flags are and when they are used.
