As forum posts have been a bit thin on the ground since Saturday, anything interesting happened to you at the weekend in your Scoob?

I drove it. A trip from my house to the Silver Link Retail Park down the A1. Any excuse to drive it still, we could have taken the 206!!

Nothing interesting. Unless you count putting even more V-Power in it as interesting.
I'm sure the damn fuel tank is leaking.

Gearbox is rebuilt, hopefully back in the car and a couple of other jobs done later this week, then back on the dyno for a tweak for higher fuel pressure and a bit more boost and then hope to try another go at drag racing before the weather turns Simon

Up to my elbows in seized suspension bolts both sides. Taken the whole back end apart, replaced bolts, greased where required and realignment sometime this week.
Apart from lots of practice with a grinder and blow torch it's been great practicing alternative english.

Still the original clutch too, how long is average for a bugeye WRX clutch to last?? Mines done 123,000 and, as far as I know, has the original clutch (blobeye). Not bad considering it's my daily driver, and, my track day steed It also has to put up with size 12's heel-and-toe! As for any useage, my partners daughter went off to Uni at the weekend so mine was used to cart some of her stuff down (we had to take two cars). I was amazed at how much these kids bring with them. Amongst the typical family cars crammed to the roof, I saw two VW transporter hire vans and a long wheel base Transit at the campus. God only knows what they thought they need, and how on earth they could fit it all into a student box room

Its going to API for a proper job. I thought around £1500 so was abit out. I'll have the extra funds next month.
Cheers scoobie. Its the knowledgable guys in this sub forum that made me decide to keep it rather than walk away.

This season! I have mostly been, not washing the car!
Until lastnight... I really should have done it before, there's been mud spray up the side of it since I ran out of tarmac at Ingliston in July! Will maybe sneak a pic up later on.
