I'm heading over to the Norfolk Broads next week for an evening (or two maybe) of fishing and wondered if there are any anglers who can give me a few pointers??

Mods - why move this - its specifically relating to the Norfolk Broads in East Anglia!!
In response to the one reply before the move - North Broads. Travelling in from Lincs, so maybe the Yare at Beauchamp Arms / Surlingham Ferry/ Postwick or St Benets on the Bure. Ideally somewhere I can fish at night, most likely on my own.

Please can it go back - the Broads are unique for fishing, and local knowledge is invaluable. I know how to fish for them, just need local help!!!

Although I haven't been for a long while, I always found fishing around the Geldeston/Beccles area quite good if you are just going for one night. Around this time of year is perfect as the tourists are not there anymore. Plenty of hidden casts if you have a wonder along the waterways where you can even build a small fire to keep warm and remain hidden!

Cold harbour near St Benets is a nice spot. Until all the boats turn up but you won,t have that worry at night.
